When one goes to be with God, a person should take something with them that God does not have:Nyaaz (humility). Because He is ‘ben-yaaz’ (without humility).
Even God does not exhibit one thing: ego.
One should not ask for death. Instead ask for God.
We should not talk about others’ shortcomings, as we are all full of them. The only one without any shortcomings is God. We should not be singing our own praises.
If one is leaving a decision to God, then do not ask for what you favor.

In lean times one should not want and in success one should not be excessively happy.
We should live our lives with patience and be grateful at all times.
One should speak the truth at all times, but avoid speaking the truth if it is going to create hurt feelings.
The sweetest and purest fruit is hunger for His name. This hunger is so sweet that once tasted, one keeps wanting more.
The best advice is to talk less, eat less and sleep less.
Wealth (lakshmi) is beautiful to look at when viewed from in front but has no basis or foundation.
What is immoral? To hurt the innocent, to act unjustly and to partake of anything that may have been acquired by immoral means.
Try to be blind, deaf and mute towards the world. This means living in the world but ‘outside ‘ it focusing on a single purpose: God.
